Wow

Four teams in the Top 10 went down this week, and at this pace Boise State will be the #1 one team in the land. Florida's season looked to be in jeopardy as Tebow was taken away in the ambulance, but he gets on extra week off for his brain to quit shaking before LSU comes knocking. Speaking of LSU, they sneak by MSU in a game in which the #7 Tigers should have walked in and taken care of business, they are not playing real good football at the moment but do remain unbeaten. Also unbeaten in the SEC are Auburn and Bama, and the way Bama is playing currently I'd put them in front of Florida and Texas if i had a vote in the polls.

The Big XII's weekend featured a couple of closer than expected games, and a lot of blowouts of lesser teams. The game of the week had to be TECH @ Houston, honestly i thought Tech had this game under control late in the second half. I give Houston a ton of credit for pulling this one out ( 2 - 0 vs. Big XII ). Kansas struggled with So. Miss. and Mizzou had a hard time putting away Nevada. Despite the last minute collapse versus Virginia Tech, Nebraska is playing solid football and should be the clear favorite in the north now.

This week features a couple of big games: OU @ Miami, LSU @ UGA, A&M vs. Arkansas, and Auburn @ Tenn.

Last but not least, i'd like to thank Iowa for knocking off Penn State and potentially eliminating the Big 10 from a spot in the National Championship.

  1. Hmmmm...this college football season is a little strange this year...Nothing has gone the way it is suppose too....Anyways it will all shake out in the end...Now, Mr.Tebow can thank ole Coach for leaving him in the game and letting him get his bell rung...Way to go Urban...U greedy SOB...thats all u want to do is run up the score to impress the voters and u almost ruined the future career for ur QB...jeez at least Mack takes McCoy out of the game when they are stomping a mudhole in the other teams ass (and no I am not giving any credit to mack and the horns, just stating a fact)Urban is so arragant...his time will come when he gets stomped on by the SEC teams...hes just like Spurrier back in days at Florida when Spurrier would schedule all the junior colleges to play(really just pathetic D1 schools) and run the scores up to get the votes...

Now as for the Tech/Houston game....way to screw that one up Tech...You had that game wraped in the palm of ur hand and just gave it away...Im getting worried about Potts...he just hangs in the pocket toooooooo long...get out of there...scramble for gods sake!!!Oh i could go on about this but i will spare everyone....

Miami...hello Miami...what the hell happened there...looked like the hokies just took the eye out of the canes...and the canes just spun out of control...now i did think Beamer ball would be back this year and it looks like that is what is happening...Penn State and Iowa...started out like Penn State was gonna roll in that game...but Iowa just has there number..hmm bill do u think Iowa could sneak in the BCS champ???they are 4-0???Oh yeah seems like Cal was a little over ranked this year too...way to get stomped up there in Oregon

hey bill why dont pick some games each week and we pick the winners and keep tabs up with it???just a thought

  2. Yes, the Penn State loss was like an early Christmas present. I think the BCS championship game will have one, maybe two, one-loss teams. So both Penn State and Ohio State need to get their asses kicked again just to insure that they don't move back up in the polls and make it into the big game.

Yes, Tech screwed up against Houston and yes, I'm a little worried about Potts. J Rock, feel free to talk about Tech all you want.
